A FUN day in Dursley will raise money for Help for Heroes.
The event – which will be held in The Kingshill in Dursley on Sunday, August 28 – is to feature a range of activities for the whole family.
Live bands will perform throughout the afternoon and evening and a range of stalls and food and drink will be available throughout the day.
Organiser Fiona Edwards said: “It’s a free event for local families to have a fun day out and to raise money for a great charity at the same time.”
The day will include a tug of war, a barbecue run by Cam Family Butchers, face painting, a disco, children’s characters and much more.
The fun day will run from 2pm until late.
If you would like to contribute to the day and help a good cause, Fiona has asked any keen bakers interested in submitting a cake to the cake stall to get in touch. Volunteers to spend time on one of the stalls throughout the afternoon are also required.
If you would like to offer a cake or work on one of the stalls, contact Fiona on 07770630933
