TWO large gates have been stolen from a field near Berkeley Castle.
Using a JCB, the two gates were lifted off their hinges, causing significant damage to the fencing, at about 8.45pm on Sunday.
The vehicle then drover off in the direction of the A38 with the 12ft metal gates.
Patrols were carried out after the incident was reported to police but the JCB driver has yet to be located.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote incident 447 of August 21.
