GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police were alerted by West Mercia Police this morning about a wanted car travelling from Birmingham.

Police were alerted at 8am about a grey Jaguar which failed to stop at Strensham Services and continued on the M5 from Junction 8. 

Gloucestershire Police used a stinger at Junction 11 to stop the vehicle. The Jaguar collided with two other cars, an Audi and a Mercedes. 

An ambulance attended but there were no injuries.

The driver of the Jaguar has been detained and is in custody.
