A TEMPORARY 30mph speed limit on the A38 which has been in force since 2013 will be lifted once work to replace a bridge has been replaced.
Since a routine inspection revealed a weakness in the northbound bridge over the railway near Berkeley a 30mph limit has been in place in the area.
Following the completion of the replacement of the bridge scheduled for May, the temporary limit will be removed with the previous national speed limit (60mph) returning.
However a 30mph advisory limit will be in place.
