Accident closes third lane on M4
AN accident on the M4 Eastbound this morning closed one lane.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident, which took place between Junction 18 A46 (Bath/Tormarton) and Junction 17 A350/A429?B4122 (Chippenham) at around 7.30am.
Lane three was closed following the accident, but has since reopened.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "There were no injuries and no damage to any road furniture.
"Two vehicles were able to be driven away from the scene, another third was recovered with assistance from the Highways Agency."
