A 28-YEAR-OLD Stonehouse man stole groceries from two supermarkets in Dursley and Stroud, a court heard.
Nathan Arkwell of Sandford Close, Leonard Stanley admitted two charges of theft when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates.
On June 11 he stole £121 of meat, flowers and cleaning products from Sainsburys in Dursley and on July 13 last year he stole £211 of meat, cheese and other foods from Tesco in Stroud.
Arkwell was fined a total of £100 and ordered to pay £124 compensation.
He was also ordered to pay £45 towards prosecution costs.
