HMS Exploit and its five-person crew is expected to arrive at Sharpness Docks on Thursday ahead of it welcoming pupils from Berkeley Primary School on Friday.
On Sunday morning it will open to the wider general public with visitors given the opportunity to have a tour between 9am and 12pm.
In the afternoon, the vessel’s crew will meet with invited representatives of the town.
