A PHOTOGRAPHER from Cromhall has shared some of her pictures with the Gazette.

Rebecca Clark, 36, has been taking photos since she was given a camera for her 10th birthday and in the past five years has begun turning her passion into a business.

She said: "I started entering local calendar competitions several years ago before setting up my own website online.

"I love the surrounding countryside where I live and spend a lot of time outside looking for unique photographs.

"I sell my photographs as cards in the Cromhall shop and also have cards and prints for sale in Tortworth shop, the Fish out of Water Gallery in Wotton and via my website online.

"I also take children's portraits, mainly my own at the moment, and spent two years photographing weddings before stopping to concentrate on nature photography."

Photograph 1: Westridge Woods, Wotton-under-Edge - one of my favourite places, it is so peaceful and beautiful in the woods. I love the autumn colours and the fog adds a more atmospheric look for a unique photograph.

Photograph 2: Rabbits, Cromhall - I try to go for evening walks as much as I can and this particular evening the sunset was beautiful.

I spotted the rabbits grazing on the hill and thought that they would make a perfect silhouette against the red sky.

Photograph 3: Damery Woods - I really love thick fog as it adds a whole new dimension to the photographs. I head straight for the woods on foggy days to take atmospheric pictures.

Photograph 4 : Poppies, Wotton-under-Edge - I wanted to take a different kind of photograph than the usual poppy field look so I shot low down and added a vintage style filter.

Photograph 5: Young bullocks, Cromhall - where I live I am surrounded by sheep and cows and I try to take unique photographs of them. I sat down on the other side of the gate to get the attention of these young bullocks and thought the picture would look great in black and white.
