AN OVER-THE-LIMIT Stinchcombe motorist was found within easy grasp of the long arm of the law after he was stopped by police at Dursley Police Station, a court has heard.
Adam Zalewski, 48, of Wick Road, Stinchcombe was nearly twice over the legal driving limit, when he was stopped by police last month.
At Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on June 14 he admitted driving with excess alcohol after he had been stopped with a reading of 68mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - almost twice the legal limit of 35mg.
He was stopped in Dursley police station car park in his Mitsubishi Shogun on May 7, the court was told.
Zalewski was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs.
