OUR second annual Flower and Produce show will be held on Saturday, August 26 at the Chantry Centre, Long Street, Dursley.

As well as flowers, vegetable, baking, preserves and childrens’ competitions we are adding a wine and beer section this year (we have a CAMRA judge but many thanks to those who have offered).

If you would like to enter any of the competitions entry forms are available from the pet shop and daisy belle flower shop, both in Parsonage Street or via the Chantry Centre web site.

The show will be open for entries from 8.30am and open to the public from noon.

There will be lots to see and do on the day with stalls, plant sales, a soft play area for small children and tea and cakes served by Castlegate WI.

Come along and see our community garden project and we might sign you up as a new volunteer for gardening or next years show.

Transition Cam & Dursley explores how people living in Cam and Dursley can respond positively to the pressures we all face from rising fuel, food and energy costs, transport issues, a rising population, unemployment and a decline in local jobs.
