IT WILL be a chilly start today with fog patches clearing, leaving a dry and fine morning for many.

Showers are likely through the afternoon, but with further sunnier spells for all as temperatures reach highs of 17C.

Thicker cloud may bring a few showers across eastern parts of the region to start the night, but it will be largely dry thereafter with clear spells and a few fog patches, as it turns chilly again with temperatures dropping to as low as 7C.
