POLICE officers investigating yesterday's train line death near Berkeley have confirmed that it was a man in his 40s who died.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Kitts Green Farm shortly after 1.30pm following reports that someone had been struck by a train.
Despite paramedics and police officers' efforts they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
