THE FEBRUARY Trefoil Guild meeting was the AGM. The chairman Ann King, secretary Pat Allen and treasurer Gilly Stook all have two further years in post.

Vice chairman, Joan Allen, stood down after many years’ service. Thanks were extended to Joan for all that she has done.

She will continue as a committee member. Michele Everett was elected as the new vice chairman having been proposed by Pam Cottle and seconded by Sarah Norton.

The business part of the meeting was followed by 'food and friendship' in the form of mocktails and nibbles from round the world, with lots of happy chatter.

The guild is looking forward to hearing double Gloucester Trefoil Guild member Ede Holyhead talking at their March meeting about her travels with Girlguiding.

The Guild meets on the second Thursday of the month from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at The Hut in Sharpness.

Trefoil Guild is Girlguiding for adults and is open to anyone 18 and over who is prepared to make the Guide Promise. Anyone interested in joining should contact Sarah Norton, 01453 521905.
