THIS year's Berkeley Summer Festival will combine music, food, stalls and sporting events in what promises to be a full afternoon of entertainment for the family.
On Saturday, June 30 the grounds of the Berkeley Arms Hotel will be transformed with children’s entertainments, ice cream, food and craft stalls, a Pimms bar, music including a talent competition, and more.
Once again the Festival has also been paired with a running event, the Castle Dash organised by New Berkeley Harriers.
This 5 or 10k run, routed through the grounds of Berkeley Castle, will start and finish at the Festival, with a medal for every finisher.
In addition the Hills of Hope challenge 250 charity bike ride from Lands End to Berkeley will end at the Festival in memory of Heath Barnett and raising money for Children with Cancer UK and the James Hopkins Trust.
If you sing or play music and are interested in taking part in the Festival please contact Mike Studden On 01453 511131.
Berkeley Summer Festival runs from 1-5pm. Visit facebook Berkeley-Town-Festivals for more.
