Wotton is to host a harmonic voice workshop and concert.
David Moss and Masha Kastner, from folk band LightGarden, will run the workshop on Saturday, July 21 before being joined by Rob Colquhoun and Dave McKeown for a  performance later in the evening.
The event has been organised by Under the Edge Arts and will take place at The Chipping Hall.
Participants will learn the vocal technique of overtone chanting.
The technique involves singing of two different notes at the same time and features in several ancient cultures.
The harmonics are heard above the drone note as a high pitched flute or bell-like sound.
Martin Clarke, co-chairman of Under the Edge Arts, said: “I was so impressed at the first workshop I have now been to three. I’m still trying to work on the overtone technique, usually in the car, and it’s a huge thrill when it happens.
“David and Masha are great teachers and weave overtone into the LightGarden show. I love it.”
LightGarden’s music combines the chanting technique with guitars, fiddles, organs and other instruments.
The band will be performing songs from their new album ‘...and there’s a Silver Stream Cascading...’.
Martin added: “I love the LightGarden music - it brings out the old hippy in me.”
The workshop runs from 3-4pm and costs £6. Singers and non-singers are welcome.
The concert costs £10 and begins at 8pm.
