ORGANISATIONS in Dursley are invited to apply for grants which will benefit the community.
Each year Dursley Town Council allocates an amount of money to support organisations which provide services to the town's residents.
In 2017/18, the council granted nearly £37,000 to 24 organisations.
These ranged from smaller awards, such as £100 given to Churches Together in Cam, Dursley & District towards the cost of providing a Christmas lunch for those in need, to larger amounts, such as £7,000 given to the Dursley and District Community Centre, towards general maintenance and refurbishment improvements.
Requests and applications for funding are welcome from all organisations that operate in the town.
Applications for the 2018/19 round of funding must be received before Friday, August 31.
The application forms are available to download from the town council website: dursleytowncouncil.gov.uk
