MORE than a dozen police officers had to be called in during a mass brawl on Thornbury High Street.
The fight broke out between rowdy pub-goers in the early hours of Saturday morning and spilled out onto the streets at 2am.
Pub staff tried to break up the fight but became embroiled in the situation.
Sgt Craig Ogborne, from Thornbury police station, said: "Customers were fighting and staff were trying to break up the fight. We had 14 PCs at the scene including officers from Chipping Sodbury, Filton and Almondsbury."
A 19-year-old man from Berkeley was arrested during the affray and was later cautioned for assault.
Sgt Ogborne said the rest of the people involved quickly dispersed.
