SO more proposals to build new houses in Thornbury made the front page of this weeks Gazette.
Has any thought gone into the services Thornbury has to provide. Our schools are brimming, car parks suffer at weekends. But more importantly how on earth do we expect the Doctor and Dentist centres to take on anymore new patients. I think they are already stretched beyond their capability.
Thornbury Health Centre now offers longer opening hours and a 'sit and wait' surgery which in my opinion has improved their services greatly. But surely more people would overflow these services.
What is the point in checking if the land is suitable if Thornbury cannot provide the services!
