I WILL skip celebrating Halloween this year! I love the day itself, but not the day after. The tricks don't spook me, but the discount of the festive products hours after the holiday, do.

My face becomes white, I start trembling all over and my eyes turn wide in shock and disbelief when seeing the toddler's noisy, scary toy that I have bought just hours ago for £6, being reduced to the pathetic 40p! Whole £5.60 magically disappeared into the other world, when the veil separating it from ours, was lifted at midnight.

Now I understand why a friend of mine only buys Christmas cards and Christmas wrapping paper in January.

I will be strong and not celebrate the scary holiday this year, but will go shopping the day after. For my next year's big Halloween party!
