IN reply to K Werrett (Gazette, November 20) re runners on the road in Box road. While I agree they should be careful before stepping out, what option have they, with the footpaths littered with parked cars obstructing their way forward. The footpaths are a disgrace, overgrown with weeds and nettles, making it difficult and dangerous for anyone walking along them. Even more precarious and life threatening is trying to cross the road at the end of Box Road to the bus stop for Gloucester with the speed and volume of traffic continuous - No slow signs for bus stop, it makes crossing very hazardous indeed.
