I HAVE always had an open mind about cyclists, until something happened last week that made me think.
I was following a cyclist along the road from Coalpit Heath to Yate. When we got to the council offices, he was overtaken by a tractor going to the left, this resulted in a raised finger salute, when we got to the traffic lights at Cranleigh Court Road, he shot through the red light.I followed him along Station Road, and found he was travelling at 33 mph. Are they allowed to break the speed limit? Or are they immune? As they seem to be from every other traffic law.
