I AM writing to just comment on what may seem a small matter, the vandalism of a tree, but which in my view is one of those things which is a scar on the face of our lovely town.
I saw a boy of primary school age destroy this tree, I know that there is no point in following it up, clearly this boy has not been taught the value of anything, no other comment is needed!
