THERE was a tense atmosphere in Thornbury Saturday morning, September 5.
Fire engines and police had taken over most of High Street. A market had taken over in Castle Street.
If there had been an emergency there it could have become a disaster zone. Giving priority to markets in Castle Street can cause not only problems for drivers but for residents in that area.
