A SMALL article caught my eye in the Gazette of November 12 about the garden waste scheme.

Here we go again an excellent scheme bogged down by bureaucratic interference even before it`s got off the ground.

This is the garden waste scheme, to cost another fortune, it will only run between February and November - what about December and January?

Nature waits for no man, weeds still grow trees still shed leaves and branches in these two months.

Do the people who are making these decisions have a garden or even a window box? When you come to think about it they can't even keep our roads and pavements clean and tidy. Potholes everywhere weeds all over the place and expect households to pay more for a waste scheme, these councils have cost the taxpayer millions already for a job they are supposed to do.

I have also noticed with the wheelie bin collection, if the bin lid is left open it is left what a daft policy or is it a decisions by the refuse operator to decide, more and more rubbish on our streets.
