I WOULD like to thank all the voters of Wotton, North Nibley and Stinchcombe who supported me during the local elections on May 5.
I was delighted and honoured to be elected as the first Green Party councillor for our ward and I look forward to working with others to represent the views of all residents.
We live in a very special place with beautiful countryside and many flourishing community groups, and as your new local councillor I will be working to support and champion local issues and to ensure our voice is heard.
I don’t underestimate the challenges we face with further cuts to finances; there is work ahead in trying to lessen the impact on those already being hit hardest.
I have already spoken with many people and am very keen to hear more from residents about your priorities and concerns.
Please drop me a line to cllr.catherine.braun@stroud.gov.uk or to write to me c/o Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB.
Cllr Catherine Braun
Wotton-under-Edge
