IS THERE no end to this mad rush to build yet more new housing in the area?

With the likes of Gladman, which is basically a law firm that gets planning permission on a "no win, no fee" method for any farmer that has a farm but has given up farming and just wants the good life, I say enough is enough.

About a mile down the road from this proposed site, north of Brimsham park we have 2,500 new houses going up, and attached to that development at Peghill another 250 houses.

On the north side of Chipping Sodbury another 250 houses, this is turning out to be a bad joke.

Do developers want to create a whole new town by connecting up Wickwar, Chipping Sodbury and Yate? You think you have problems Thornbury.

This area is slowly grinding to a halt, you cannot park in Yate on Mondays and Fridays and leaving the area you are driving on roads that were only suitable for traffic back in the 1960s.

The sad thing is, the indigenous population is falling, I cannot think where all these extra people are coming from, but I will vote to leave.
