THE Lib Dem promise to protect the triple lock, 2.5 per cent, on pensions meaning 19,280 elderly members of the community benefit is nothing more than an empty promise, to buy votes.
At this time it is predicted that the Tories will increase their majority meaning the Lib Dems will not be able to deliver on such a promise.
We should be looking at growing the only party that has tried to get a Progressive Alliance (PA) going to really stop the Tories' right-wing divisive policies, the Green party.
Both Labour and the Lib Dems have said no to a PA so don't vote tactically, as they must feel they can win the seat without our help.
