POLICE are appealing for information after Charfield Service Station was broken into.
The break-in happened overnight between Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16.
Staff working at the petrol station on the Wotton Road arrived at work on October 16 to find a rear door had been forced open.
CCTV images revealed a dark coloured Honda, with a partial licence plate number of WP54, parked on the forecourt at 5am in the morning.
PC Leigh Bainbridge, of Thornbury Police Station, said: "To break the door needed a significant amount of force and whoever is reponsible must have been there for a considerable length of time.
"I am also sure they made a lot of noise and if anyone did see anything that can help with our investigation or if anyone has information with regards to the Honda they should call either Thornbury Police Station or Crimestoppers."
Police are examining forensic evidence from the scene.
Anyone with information should call Avon and Somerset Police on 0845 456 7000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
