POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a Chipping Sodbury pub.
Officers said an altercation took place near the George Hotel, on Broad Street, at 2.45am on Sunday, February 28.
A police spokesman said: "A 43-year-old man received a number of blows to the head as a result.
"Police would now appeal for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward and help with inquiries."
