HILLESLEY’s Fleece Inn is to celebrate two years as a community pub on Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27. The pub is owned by 120 people from in and around the village after raising nearly £390,000. Live music is planned for all three days as well as line dancing at 1.30pm and a tug-of-war competition at 5pm and face painting on Saturday. Refreshments include 15 guest beers, a variety of ciders, barbecue, chilli or curry over Friday and Saturday with roast meats and salad buffet on Sunday. A prize draw will raise money for local charities and schools.
