A WORKDAY is being held at Wapley Bushes, on the edge of Yate, on Sunday, September 14 (10am) when volunteers will be asked to help in the annual clearance of the nature reserve’s stream.
The work is required to preserve the habitat of the rare local thin-spiked wood sedge. All are welcome to come along, wear walking or wellington boots and bring some gloves. Meet at the Shire Way entrance to the woodland.
