The Memory Cafe will be open again following the summer break, on Tuesday 9th September.
The cafe is available for all those suffering from dementia related problems, and their partners or carers, and is an opportunity to vary the daily routine and come along and chat to others with similar difficulties, or with the cafe’s volunteers.
As usual the cafe will be open between 10.15am and11.45 am, at the Methodist Hall, in Thornbury.
Coffee, tea and snacks will be available and regulars and newcomers alike are welcome to come along to the free event.
At the first meeting on Tuesday, September 9, there will be a visit from Elinor Kapp, who will be telling us some ‘Tall Tales’.
The cafe is not a clinic, but many have found it pleasant and helpful to simply chat.
For further details call either Audrey Green: 01454 412619 or Sue Rowley: 01454 412941.
