ST JOHN'S Church, in Slimbridge, is holding a First World War Commemorative Concert on Friday, November 7 at 7.30pm. This will be an evening of music and song to commemorate the First World War, with old favourites such as Over There, There's a Long Long Trail Awinding and many more. There will be a raffle and an interval with refreshments. Entry is free but donations in aid of the maintenance of the church would be greatly appreciated.
