The Organising Committee for Alveston Flower Show would like to thank everyone who helped to make the 2014 show a success including those local organisations which sponsored the Show and donated raffle prizes.
A total of £416.64 was donated to the Friends of Bristol Eye Hospital in memory of the ophthalmic surgeon, Francis Richardson Cross, who had a home in Alveston and is buried in St Helen's churchyard alongside his wife, brother and sister-in-law.
