BARGAIN hunters will be able to peruse the shelves at a new reuse shop at the Thornbury SORT IT! centre.
Secondhand homeware, furniture and clothing are now available for a snip from the Revive store, which was created to help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill and for recycling.
Sarah Ottaway, waste minimisation manager at SITA South Gloucestershire, said: "We hope that the opportunity to purchase these goods at a fraction of what they may cost new will help local people during the current economic downturn as well as helping the environment.
"Revive has been set up to find new homes for a wide range of pre-loved items and it will help the environment by reducing the amount that is sent to landfill or for recycling."
Revive is open every day from 8am to 4.30pm. Free parking is available on site.
No electrical items will be sold.
