A PRISONER who absconded from HMP Leyhill will be featured in BBC Crimewatch on Thursday, December 4 in a bid to trace him.
Daniel Wynne left the open prison on Saturday, October 25 and has not been found despite a public appeal for information.
He is aged 28 and described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall and stocky, with a shaved head and a Welsh accent. He has a tattoo of the name ‘Danny’ on his left arm.
Wynne has links to the Caerphilly area of South Wales and was serving a two-year sentence for assault with an indeterminate release date.
He left the prison in company with convicted murder Daniel Shankly who was detained by West Mercia police in Bromsgrove in the early hours of Saturday, November 29 and returned to prison.
