A MAN died when fire broke out in a mobile home in Severn Beach.
Avon Fire and Rescue crews were sent to the Rustic Park mobile home site in Beach Road just after 10.30am on Saturday, January 17.
Four fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus got into the premises to tackle the blaze, which had swept through the prefabricated structure.
They had received reports that someone was inside the property and they discovered a 35-year-old man who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation established the cause of the blaze was accidental.
However, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the matter had been routinely reported to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) because there had been previous contact between the man and the police.
