INDIVIDUALS and organisations have the chance to identify sites and broad locations that could be used for housing and economic development in South Gloucestershire.

Suggestions made will be assessed for their suitability and form part of evidence aimed at showing the supply of development land in the area in the period up to 2036.

The information is needed for a land availability assessment - one of a number of studies which will support the development of a joint planning blueprint by the four West of England local authorities that used to make up the old county of Avon.

Proposals should be submitted by March 6, with only sites capable of accommodating ten or more houses or economic development on sites of at least a quarter of a hectare or 500 sq metres of floor space.
