POLICE are appealing for information from any taxi driver who picked up two men from the Almondsbury area at around 5am on Sunday, March 1, and possibly took them to a military camp or into Bristol city centre.

They are keen to talk to the two men about an allegation of sexual assault by a 19-year-old woman in a room at the Almondsbury Interchange Hotel earlier that morning.

Late on the Saturday night, February 28, the men shared a taxi with the woman and a female friend from Pryzm nightclub in Bristol to the hotel.

The victim recalls them making reference to a camp, presumably a military camp somewhere, and police believe they would have called another cab to take them back to the city centre or to that camp in the morning.

One of the men is black, about 21, 5ft 8ins tall and of stocky build. The other is white, of similar age and build. Both had short hair shaved at the sides and back, and both wore long-sleeved, round-necked casual jumpers.

Any taxi driver or anyone with information, or the two men themselves, is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 21771/15.
