Man who fled police in Thornbury last week still on the run
A SUSPECTED rogue trader who fled from police in Thornbury last week is still on the run.
Described as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, 6ft tall with a skinny build, with short brown hair and freckles and wearing a burgundy hoodie with a grey horizontal stripe and burgundy combat trousers, he fled after police swooped in following reports of rogue traders operating in the town.
Another man was arrested on suspicion of fraud offences and criminal damage after conning £3,000 from an elderly man posing as roofers.
Anyone with information which could help the investigation is asked to call 101, referencing log 288 of July 14.
