POLICE have reportedly begun searching rivers in Thornbury for Bristol’s missing DJ Derek.
It is being reported that police searched rivers in the area last night for 73-year-old Derek Serpell-Morris and house to house enquires will be carried out today.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman told the Gazette he could not confirm whether the searches were being carried out this morning, but an update is expected shortly.
Derek was reported missing by his concerned family on July 23, and last week the police said they believed DJ Derek may have boarded a bus to Thornbury.
He is described as a white male, of slim build and average height, with grey hair. He also wears glasses.
