GLOUCESTERSHIRE police have confirmed that there have been two more arrests following the death of Dolton Powell in Gloucester on August 23 in the early hours of the morning.

The two men arrested on suspicion of murder are both from Bristol and are aged 30 and 17.

Senior investigating officer, detective chief inspector Steve Porter said:

"We now have seven men in custody and two Warrants Of Further Detention were issued by Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court today to hold for another 36 hours the two men arrested on Tuesday 25th August.

"I’d like to thank the public for their help and I can confirm that the dark coloured Vauxhall Corsa has been eliminated from our enquiries and we have found the light coloured Vauxhall Corsa that we believe was used during the incident.

"The help the public give us is invaluable and we believe that there are people who attended the party at the All Nations Community Centre who we have not spoken to yet.  Some of these people may be younger teenagers who could be upset and scared by what they have seen.  I want to reassure them that the police have specialist officers who are specifically trained to work with young people with skill and sensitivity.

"I would ask that anyone with any information of any kind to please come forward.”

Anyone with any information of any kind relating to this incident is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 75 of 23 August 2015 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
