THE M4 will remain closed to traffic heading west from Bristol until 6pm after a lorry overturned this morning.
The incident took place shortly before 6.30am this morning between the junctions for the M48 and M49, on the approach to the Second Severn Crossing.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Containers came off the lorry and a crane had to be brought in to remove them from the roads.
Traffic England says the road is expected to be reopened by 6pm.
