THE mum of a 22-year-old man who drowned in the River Avon has paid tribute to him.
Alex Vokins, 22, of Brislington, Bristol, died on September 30 after his body was found in the Hanham area.
His mother, Tina Vokins, said: “Alex really was one in a million, he was so caring and loving and he was always full of fun and laughter. He was a real pleasure to have as a son.
“I am devastated that he was taken from us at such a young age. He'll be deeply missed and he’ll forever be in my thoughts.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to all my family and friends for all their support during this difficult time.
“I now ask the media to respect my privacy as I mourn my loss.”
