Charity Workers’ Education Association invites residents to festive adult education event in Thornbury
PEOPLE are encouraged to attend an adult education charity’s festive event in Thornbury.
The Thornbury branch of the Workers’ Education Association (WEA), the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education, is hosting a ‘Textile Mixed Media: Festive Greeting Cards’ course this month.
The course costs £33 and £5 for materials and students need to bring their own apron, hairdryer, selection of laces and embellishments.
It takes place on Friday, November 20 from 10am to 4pm at Turnberrie’s Community Centre.
