A 20-YEAR-OLD cyclist from Thornbury was killed after he was struck by a lorry on the A403.


The man was found by the side of the road near the junction of Old Passage and Aust village at around 6.45pm last night.


He was declared dead at the scene. 


Collision investigators think he was struck by a lorry. 


They have traced a vehicle they believe was involved and have spoken to the driver, a 55-year-old man from Bath.


They now want to hear from any drivers on the A403 from around 6.15pm who may have seen a cyclist riding from Aust towards Avonmouth, or who have any information about a possible collision. 


The incident closed the road until 11pm.
