The Southmead Hospital Charity cancelled the event due to high wind
A CHARITY ice skating event at Cribbs Causeway has been cancelled due to predicted high winds.
The Southmead Hospital Charity confirmed that the event at the Mall's Winter Wonderland had to be cancelled as Storm Barney continues to affect the region.
The event has now been rescheduled for Thursday, December 3 at 6pm.
"We are really sorry for letting down anyone who intended to come skate with us tonight," said Aleisha Foreman, spokesperson for the charity.
"Hopefully having the session closer to Christmas will make it that much more festive."
