A METAL detecting club in Thornbury are keen to return an unearthed bracelet to its rightful owner.
Nick Keeler, the Chairman of SHRADS, came across the silver christening bracelet while scanning a field across from Little Bristol in Charfield on October 25.
Mr Keeler said: “We have been involved in returning a number of rings and items of sentimental value to those that have lost them but usually because they ask us to search in a particular area. We want to make sure this bracelet finds its way home.”
It is thought that the bracelet, pictured, had been there a while and is somewhat bent and battered.
The name of what is thought to be the original owner is inscribed on the inside, Lindsey Maria Williams.
Anyone with information should email Mr Keeler at nick_keeler@hotmail.com.
