STRONG winds and rain has caused widespread public transport delays and led to power cuts as the Met Office issues a severe weather warning with the arrival of Storm Imogen.
Flood warnings, issued by the Environment Agency when flooding is expected are in place for sea front properties in Severn Beach and on the Severn Estuary between Sharpness and Oldbury Power Station.
A Met Office warning of strong winds is also in place until 6pm this evening.
A spokesman said: "Gusts of 60-70 mph are likely quite widely, with 80mph gusts likely in exposed coastal areas.
"Winds should gradually ease through the afternoon and evening.
"Please be aware of the potential for disruption to travel as well as possible damage to trees and structures and interruption of power supplies."
