FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from his car after it left the road in Hallen and ended up in a water-filled ditch yesterday morning.
Avonmouth Fire Station dispatched three fire engines to the scene at 6.58am, which was also attended by police and ambulance services.
The man was helped from his vehicle by firefighters, despite the vehicle being found on its side, partially submerged in the water. Fortunately the driver’s side of the car remained above water.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, only suffered minor injuries from the incident.
